Adjusting the Truss Rod

Adjusting the truss rod (and neck relief) is a simple matter for an experienced luthier. All of the Wells and Bay State guitars have truss rods that are adjusted through the soundhole.
Until approximately 2013 truss rod adjustment was done with a 5mm hex wrench. After 2013 the adjustment requires a long ( about 3 inches) 4mm hex wrench.
The neck relief, set with strings on and at tension, at the factory was .004”-.007”.
